800 spikedace and loach minnow fish, as well as other species, got a helicopter ride to their native habitat in one of Arizona’s largest reintroduction efforts ever. Reintroductions of these and other native fish were made at the Muleshoe Ranch CMA near Willcox and in Ash Creek. Meanwhile, in Colorado, biologists attempting to save the native greenback cutthroat trout inadvertently restored the wrong fish.
