It’s easy to submit material to Western-Water!

Simply register for a user account by visiting the registration page at:

http://www.western-water.com/WaterBlog/wp-login.php?action=register

All you need to do is create a username of your choice, type in your email address, and a password will be emailed to you. If you want to change the password, log in to what is known as “the Dashboard,” click the “My Profile” link in the upper right hand corner, and change the password to something that you can remember.

The Dashboard

The Dashboard is where you can change your profile and submit press releases or articles. In order to access it, go to:

http://www.western-water.com/WaterBlog/wp-login.php

Submit your story or press release by clicking the “write post” button. It’s generally easier if you have your article pre-written and stored in a .txt format. Copy and paste your text into the submission field.

All Posts Are Moderated

All posts are moderated. This means that when you submit a post, it will be saved as a draft. If approved, it will be posted to the blog. Reasons your post might not be approved are:

  • The post has nothing to do with water issues and is irrelevant
  • The post does not make any sense because of typographical errors or grammar errors
  • The post contains more than two hyperlinks
  • The post links to a black hat or spammy website that has nothing to do with water (typically, made for Adsense sites and websites with poor, useless content will be rejected)
